Maintaining Best Practices

 Attention Certified Pedorthists, Orthotists, Prosthetists, Athletic Trainers and Ski Instructors, the Masters, Masters Plus and Backcountry Connection course now offer the following continuing education credits.

Note that not every location offers every course, so please check your intended location for availability.  When you register, please ONLY select CONTINUING EDUCATION as the registration type and place your member# or certification# number in the appropriate field on the form.  Make sure to inform on-site registration staff of your status upon arrival.  There is a separate sign-in sheet for anyone earning continuing education credits that MUST be initialed and signed each day of attendance.  Failure to follow these procedures may result in missed credits.

• American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC)—14 CEPs (Scientific Credits)
• Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC)—14.08 CEUs (Scientific Credits)
• National Athletic Trainers’ Assn. Board for Certification (BOC)— 13.5 CEUs
• Professional Ski Instructors of America – Eastern Region (PSIA-E) — 12 CEU’s

Qualifying Courses

Currently we offer two courses that qualify for continuing education points.  Points are issued for the total hours attended, not the level of course chosen.
